About Me

About Me

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT 107334) and can provide therapy services to anyone within the state of California. I have a Masters of Science in Marital and Family Therapy from Fuller School of Psychology, a Masters of Science in Elementary Education and a Bachelors of Science in Secondary Education from Northwestern University.  I have been working with children and families providing psychotherapy since 2015 with additional experience volunteering at an orphanage, teaching first grade, and being a mother.

Specialties

I specialize in working with little ones and their caregivers and am trained in Child-Parent Psychotherapy (CPP), Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), and Reflective Parenting Program (RPP). Additionally, I am a PCIT trainer of other therapists. CPP works through helping children and their caregivers heal after stressful or traumatic events by processing through play and reflection. PCIT assists children and parents to improve the caregiver-child relationship and help parents learn skills needed to manage difficult behaviors. The RPP curriculum supports caregivers in learning to slow down and seek to understand why children do what they do in order to guide the caregiver response.

I'm also the founder of Parenting and Playing Inc, where we help parents enjoy life with their children without relinquishing leadership, without power struggles, and without repeating ‘no’ with the Parenting and Playing Membership.  I would love to help you transform your relationships with your children!
