FAQS

Frequently Asked Questions

How do we get therapy started?

Book a free 15-minute consultation with me to determine if we might be a good fit. After scheduling an initial appointment, I will send you information about my practice policies and a questionnaire to complete via a secure portal before our first meeting. During the initial visit, we'll explore why you're seeking services and what you hope to gain from therapy.

How often and how long are sessions?

Typically sessions occur once per week on a regularly scheduled day and time, although occasionally sessions will occur more or less frequently based on your needs. Sessions are usually 45-50 minutes long.

How much do services cost?

Therapy is an investment of your time and financial resources. Individual or family sessions are $300. Although I do not accept or bill insurance, I will gladly assist you by providing a superbill for potential reimbursement through your insurance company.  Please contact your insurance company’s Member Services Department to see if you are eligible for reimbursement for an out of network (OON) provider. You will be responsible for payment at the time that services are rendered and I will provide a superbill for you to submit to your insurance on a monthly basis, or as needed.

I am passionate about making help available for all families regardless of financial and time resources.  Therefore, I created an online parenting platform, The Parenting and Playing Membership, to help caregivers build connection with young children.  Start by investing just $7 and you can access our best-selling parenting course filled with evidenced-based strategies used by therapists, easy techniques to start using in as little as 5 minutes a day, succinct videos that include role plays and REAL LIFE EXAMPLES, and repair and regulation tools for your family. And, you'll have access to ask your questions to the Parenting and Playing Team.

Are telehealth (video) sessions available?

Yes, both in-person (Mid-Wilshire, 90048) or online therapy are available. Many people appreciate the convenience of telehealth and services are available to anyone within the state of California.
